About

I am a reformed Silicon Valley software engineer.

After earning my BS and MSE degrees in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University, I spent ten years working at both tech giants and high-valuation startups. But my true passion was always video games. During the pandemic, I started learning visual novel development as a hobby. This eventually grew into a full-on passion, leading me to pursue a career developing indie games with a narrative focus.

I'm passionate about story-based games, especially science fiction and murder mystery stories. Some of my favourites include The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney, and Slay the Princess. I also draw a lot of inspiration from the works of Agatha Christie.

My greatest joy as a game developer is in being able to express authentic creativity, and to establish a connection with my audience in that way. Nothing fills my heart more than hearing that my work resonated with someone. That human understanding is key to both my work and my motivation. In accordance with this, I do not use generative AI in my games.

Izzy and Nat break out of their boring summer routine when they make the discovery of a lifetime: an alien living at the bottom of a nearby pond. The mysterious creature, which they name Faerie, asks them for help returning to its home on a passing comet in exchange for showing the girls their futures.

Comet Angel is a sci-fi yuri narrative adventure with point and click puzzles. This game is my first ever commercial release, which I solo developed from 2023 to 2025, while still working full time as a software engineer.
